A liquid binder is then selectively deposited onto the powder layer. This binder acts as a link between the metallic powder particles, consolidating the structure of the initial layer.

After the binder is deposited, the drying process begins. With a power of over 1200W, the binder solidification is ensured. The process is repeated with a new layer of metallic powder deposited on top of the previous one until the part is fully constructed.

Once the part is fully constructed, the excess material is removed. This debinding reveals the green part. The excess powder can often be recycled for future prints.

The green part undergoes a debinding process where the binder is removed, typically through thermal or chemical methods. This prepares the part for the sintering stage.

The green part is heated to a temperature high enough for the powder particles to fuse together, forming a solid part. During this process, the powder grains are densified, and the bonds between the particles are strengthened.
